Sardaz - Bispyribac Sodium 20% + Pyrazosulfuron Ethyl 15% WDG

Bispyribac sodium 20%+ Pyrazosulfuron ethyl 15% WDG is a water dispersible granule containing Bispyribac sodium 20% (a.i) and Pyrazosuluron ethyl 15% (a.i) in the formulation. It is used for the control of echinochloacolonum, echinochloacrusgalli, eclipta alba, cyperus rotunduson Rice.

Caution :

1. The product is toxic to bees, when exposed to direct treatment and thus should be avoided during active foraging period of bees.

2. The product is moderately toxic to fresh water fish and aquatic invertebrates and may be avoided near aquaculture.

Direction of Use

  • The required quantity of Bispyribac sodium 20%+ Pyrazosulfuronethyl 15% WDG need to be diluted in water and sprayed by using Knapsack sprayer with flat fan nozzle with spray volume @ 500 L/ha for Rice at the dose @100 g/ha.

Time of Application

Need to apply once 10-12 days after sowing of Paddy grain.

Read & follow all the instructions on the label & leaflets very carefully. Save the container with label to show to the physician in case of accidental poisoning. Avoid release to the environment. Avoid further leakage or spillage. Do not contaminate streams, ponds, waterways, etc. by discharging left over material into them. Wear respiratory protection. Avoid dust formation. Avoid breathing vapours, mist or gas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not eat, drink, smoke, or chew betel leaves while spraying herbicide. In case of any spillage on the body, it should be washed with plenty of water and soap. Always change clothing and take bath as soon as treatment is completed. Call a physician immediately if any symptoms of poisoning appear in a person who is using or has recently used the herbicide.

Irritation/water in eyes, headache, dizziness, weakness, nausea, respiration distress, vomiting, salivation, seizures, respiratory distress, abnormal movement and convulsion etc. may occur.

1. If ingestion: If person is conscious and alert, rinse mouth with water and give 1 or 2 glass of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call the doctor. Do not induced vomiting until and unless desired by attending physician.
2. If inhaled: Take the patient to fresh air and take care of body temperature. If patient is not breathing or breathing with difficulty, give artificial respiration, preferably with mouth breathing. Consult a physician.
3. In case of skin contact: Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Wash with soap and plenty of water. If pain, redness or irritation persists, consult a doctor. All the contaminated clothes should be segregated and thoroughly washed with soap and water separately before use.
4. In case of eye contact: Rinse gently with plenty of water at least 15 minutes. If pain, irritation, redness or photophobia persists, consult eye specialist.

Phytotoxicity

No specific antidote known. Treat symptomatically and give supportive therapy.

1. It shall be the duty of manufacturer , formulators of herbicide and operators to dispose off the washings and surplus materials in a safe manner so as to prevent environmental or water pollution .
2. The used packages shall not be left outside to prevent their re-use.
3. Packages shall be broken & buried away from habitation.
4. Dangerous to re-use empty containers

The packages containing the herbicide shall be stored in separate room or premises away from the rooms or premises used for storing other articles particularly articles particularly articles of food or shall be kept in separate almirahs under lock & keys depending upon the quantity & nature of the herbicide. The rooms or premises meant for storing the herbicide shall be well built, dry, well lit & ventilated & of sufficient dimension to avoid contamination with vapor. Sealed original tightly closed containers should be stored in a dry secure place. Keep out of reach of children, unauthorized persons and animals.
