Zenil - CHLOROTHALONIL 75% WP

Chlorothalonil - 75% W.P. is used to control Tikka leaf spot and rust of Ground nut, Early and late blight of Potato, Scab of Apple, Anthracnose & Downey mildew of Grape, Fruit rot of Chilli, Leaf spot of Cauliflower, Downey mildew & Leaf spot on Watermelon.

Caution :- This product is highly toxic to fish, therefore should not be used near aquaculture.

Direction of Use

  • PP equipment: -knapsack sprayer, foot sprayer, Compression knapsack sprayer, Motorized knapsack Sprayer.

Time of Application

1. Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animals feed.
2. Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin as it causing Skin irritation & contact dermatitis.
3. Avoid inhalation the spray mist. Spray in the direction of wind.
4. Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and parts of the body after spraying.
5. Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying.
6. Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying

Headache, nausea, vomiting, allergic effects characterized by redness of the eyes, mild bronchial irritation and redness or rash on exposed skin areas may occur

1. If swallowed, induce vomiting by tickling the back of throat. Repeat it until the vomitus is clear. Do not induce vomiting if the patient is unconscious.
2. If clothing and skin are contaminated, remove the cloths and wash the contaminated skin with copious amount of soap and water.
3. If eyes are contaminated, flush with plenty of saline/clean water for about 10 to 15 minutes.
4. If inhaled, remove the patient to fresh air

Phytotoxicity

The product is non phytotoxic when used as per field recommendation.

No specific antidote. Treat symptomatically. Antihistamines may be given or apply steroid creams or systemic steroid to control allergic manifestation.

1. It shall be the duty of manufactures, formulators and insecticides operators to dispose packages or surplus materials and washing from the machine and container shall be disposed off in a safe manner so as to prevent environmental and water pollution.
2. The used package shall not be left outside to prevent re-use.
3. Packages shall be broken and buried away from habitation.

1.The package containing the Fungicides shall be stored in separate rooms or premises used for storing other article particular food articles or shall be kept in separate almirahs under lock and key depending on the quantity and nature of Fungicides
2.The rooms or premises meant for storing Fungicides shall be well built ,dry cool, and ventilated and sufficient dimensions
